2013-11-01: When the servers running well and there are other, business priorities, it's not at all unusual to find that months or even years have sped by and the server has not been patched or updated. All the good resolutions about security patching have gone by the board and it may slip from out minds all together until perhaps an application upgrade is needed that is incompatible with installed kernel or existing libraries.

City Linux can often upgrade live systems without any impact on the business. If services do need to be suspended for a little while this can usually be done out of hours without huge hikes in the hourly rate.
